BIOGRAPHY
In September 2002, Tracie formed IMANI Counseling and Consulting Services L.L.C. (ICCS).  Tracie started facilitating Little Sista-Circles within her Ferguson-Florissant Community.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, motivational speaker and Poet.  The Co-founder of SistaKeeper Empowerment Center, established in April 2004, and the founder of University of Mo~ SistaKeeper Chapter, established in January of 2006.  She facilitates workshops and in services on a variety of Mental Health issues for Child Care facilities, schools, and community agencies and at local, regional and national conferences.


Tracie went into private practice, Imani Holistic Center, a Wellness Center for Women & Children, and the new home of SistaKeeper Empowerment Center where she currently continues to provide individual counseling, facilitate circles, and promote SistaKeeper through motivational speaking engagements.

                                                                                                                                               

Tracie Berry-McGhee served as a Mental Health Specialist at the YWCA St. Louis Head Start Program, in 1998 serving families throughout the St. Louis City and St. Louis County areas.  She continues to serve on the YWCA One Imperative Diversity Task Force.  She is a member of the Black Child Development Institute, American Counseling Association, and has received PAT and Advanced Family Literacy Training. She is a consultant for Girls Scouts of America and the YWCA Teen Tools Program. As well as serving on the Board of Directors for the Urban Artist Alliance for Child Development.

                                                                                                                   

As Tracie Berry-McGhee received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1990 and her Masters of Education in Counseling, in 1998 from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  

                              
As a poet and motivational speaker, Tracie has contributed to various publications that promote expression through arts, as well as speaking at local community, national and global events.

In 2003, she produced a spoken-word CD, and self-published SistaKeeper Poetry for the Soul book, poetry workbook and journal that deals with the pressures and stressors that our youth deal with on a daily basis.  In 2007, Tracie produced a spoken-word CD “One Day” a God inspired poetry piece purchase your copy today to see what all the talk is about.
